Forton has over a decade of experience litigating contract disputes and debt collection claims for large corporations and financial institutions. He has worked in courts throughout the state of Florida as the lead attorney in trials, dispositive motion hearings, mediations, and depositions.
Forton earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where he won mutiple awards for his trial advocacy skills. Prior to attending law school, Forton earned a B.A. from Princeton University. He started his career as an associate with a boutique law firm in Miami, handling commercial collections cases. Forton then moved on to the Miami office of a national law firm, where his practice focused on financial services litigation from 2010 to 2020.
